Product details
A running station specified by a continuous 4 HP drive
A high-speed treadmill needs a motor that holds its rating, not a peak headline. The Impulse RT970 runs a 4 HP AC motor (6 HP peak, clearly labelled) up to 25 km/h, so serious runners get steady belt speed under load.
Who it's for
Commercial gyms, hotel fitness centres, athletic facilities and demanding home users who want a full-feature running deck.
Key benefits
The 4 HP AC motor (6 HP peak) drives 1–25 km/h with 0–15% incline, set by one-touch buttons and handlebar controls. A 21.5-inch TFT touchscreen with multiple built-in apps and multi-language display keeps the experience rich, with programs for cardio, random, fat burn, hills, interval, HR and fit test. A Pulflex Commercial Suspension System and a reversible 1-inch deck cushion each stride on a 558 x 1,524 mm surface with a 1.6 mm belt. Contact and telemetry heart rate, a USB data exchange, a three-speed fan, and iPad/phone/magazine and two bottle holders round out the console. A 180 kg maximum user weight and 88.9/76 mm rollers support heavy daily use.
