Impulse RU500 Upright Bike

A compact upright bike that powers its own console

An upright bike should be simple to site and simple to run. The Impulse RU500 Upright Bike uses a self-generating magnetic brake, so it needs no mains connection for the console, in a footprint that suits tight floor plans.

Who it's for

Commercial gyms, hotel fitness centres, corporate wellness rooms and home users who want a compact, low-maintenance upright bike.

Key benefits

A self-generating electrical magnetoresistance brake at 450 W across 20 levels gives precise, quiet control and powers its own console. An 8 kg flywheel keeps the pedal stroke smooth. A 7-LED plus 16 x 40 matrix console with contact and telemetry heart rate keeps sessions easy to follow, and tablet, phone, magazine and cup storage keep essentials in reach. A compact 1,160 x 405 x 870 mm footprint and a net 68 kg make it easy to place, supporting a 160 kg maximum user weight.
